Overview

Bowling VR ("the App") is a virtual reality bowling game developed by NVR Labs for Meta Quest devices. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Data We Collect

Bowling VR collects and processes the following data through the Meta Platform SDK:

How We Use Your Data

The data collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

Achievements: Your User ID is used to track and store achievement progress (e.g., scoring strikes, completing challenges, reaching milestones). This allows your progress to persist across play sessions.
In-App Purchases: Your User ID and purchase data are used to process consumable coin pack purchases and credit the purchased virtual currency to your account.
Subscription & Entitlement Verification: Your User ID and subscription data are used by our server-side system to verify purchase ownership (via Meta's S2S verify_entitlement API) and consume fulfilled purchases (via Meta's S2S consume_entitlement API). This ensures purchases made through the Meta Horizon web store are properly delivered even when the app is not running. No subscription data is stored permanently on our servers.
Player Statistics: Your User ID is linked to local game statistics such as high scores, total games played, and daily challenge progress.

How We Do NOT Use Your Data

We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties
We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making
We do not collect your name, email, location, or any personal contact information

Data Storage

Game progress and statistics are stored locally on your Meta Quest device using Android SharedPreferences. Purchase transactions are processed through Meta's platform infrastructure. Our server-side webhook system (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) temporarily processes subscription/entitlement data for purchase verification and consumption only — no user data is permanently stored on our servers.

Third-Party Services

Bowling VR uses the Meta Platform SDK to access User ID and process in-app purchases. Meta's handling of your data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. We do not integrate any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Bowling VR is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time:

Local data: Uninstalling the App from your Meta Quest device will permanently delete all locally stored game data (scores, settings, progress).
Request deletion: To request deletion of any data associated with your User ID, please contact us at admin@thammyvientienminh.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request — Bowling VR". We will process your request within 30 days.
Meta Platform data: For data held by Meta, please refer to Meta's account settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
